All of the Jonas Brothers made a 10-song playlist for Seventeen magazine and wrote the reasons why they chose each song. I'm jealous, so I'm gonna do the same.
1. "Mass Romantic"- The New Pornographers
This is a really fun, dance-y song and its really catchy. I also love the guitar chords in the background.
2. "Good Girls Go Bad"- Cobra Starship ft. Leighton Meester.
Again, another good song to dance to. It's fun to blast.
3. "U Can't Touch This" - MC Hammer
Need I even explain? This song is a classic!
4. "Jai Ho (You are my Destiny)"- Pussycat Dolls
This song gets stuck in your head. ALLLLLL day.
5. "Halo"- Beyonce
I feel so weird putting all these pop songs on a playlist, but this song just has this beautiful sadness about it. Idk why. It's supposed to be happy but it makes me tear up.
6. "I need a Hero"- Bonnie Tyler.
I do. Need a hero, that is.
7. "Mystery Lights" - Uh Huh Her
It's really pretty. The piano and everything- its very soothing and calming. Almost TOO soothing, to the point where there must be something lurking and you get nervous for what's behind the facade.
that was deep. almost TOO deep.
8. "The Fear" - Lily Allen
I can really connect to the lyrics. Lily Allen does it again. Strumming my pain with her fingers, singing my life with her words, as the Fugees would have put it.
How far would I be willing to push myself? What are my moral limits?
9. "Cheated Hearts" - The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
This is just a really good song.
10. "Mathematics" - Little Boots
I'm never going to get over this one. The lyrics are ones I wish I could have thought up before she did, and the pulsing music in the background is just so cool- I wish I played the tenori-on!
