My Fish Died.

had another one of those nervous breakdowns today. not because of Ginny the Fish, of course, but the fact that she died while I was crying about being stressed to my parents was somewhat unsettling.

On Sunday (or maybe it was saturday. I forget) I went on a "shopping extravaganza"!! Not that an excessive amount of items were bought or anything- I only bought 3 things. It was only extravaganzamentatious because everything was so amazingly cheap!

Ok, so I was on this 9th wonders heroes message board (don't judge me! stop laughing this MINUTE!) and there was this thread about costumes. "Why don't any of them wear costumes?" It's a good question! If you're flying around, beating up bad guys, make fire in your hands and reading minds, wouldn't you wear a costume to at least hide your identity? I replied "If i discovered I has superpowers, I would run to American Apparel and go on a mad spandex shopping spree!"

Soooo.... Here's what I'd wear if I got super powers:

My drama friends have unanimously decided to call me Ja'mie. Like from Summer Heights high. I AM ja'mie! personality-wise, we could be sisters (I'm hoping I'm a tad more decent looking than ja'mie though.

I had amazing sushi today. Spicy tuna w/ crunchies & eel avocado! yum yum.

I also went shopping and bought patent leather nude flats and lace leggings. Can't wait to wear them monday! I have to figure out what to wear with it. DEFINATELY my UO flapper/hippie headband. but what shirt? hmmm... 

I wore a really cute outfit on thurday but I didn't have a chance to post the pix until now. I really like how I clashed 3 different patterns- toile, burnout, and tye dye. I think it works though. This might be my favorite outfit yet.

Oh yeah. and my room is really messy in the background. Just... ignore that. It's actually really unlike me to be messy.

Anyway, I was on the Urban Outfitters website and I found these gladiators I really want. They are absolutely adorable, and I WILL buy them. I promise myself. Maybe if I keep pushing it like I pushed the pants, maybe I'll get them. and MAYBE (just maybe) they'll be on sale. Although I'm hoping to have them very soon.

This has become much less of a fashion blog and much more of just a blog about me.
I'm ok with that, though. This is like, my thing. I love blogging like every day. Posing outfit pictures and talking about my quirky life and raving about Heroes.

when I grow up

just had an extreme mid-life crisis today (even though I'm only 15).
It was career day in school today, and not the time when everyones daddies come in but nobosy really cares because being a grownup is far away. The REAL career day when real people from different feilds come into school and talk to us.
I have discovered I am no longer interested in psychology.

I have also discovered that I am completely screwed.

Heroes update

alright, last night I meant to do a recap, but I was too tired. so here goes...

It started off with claire getting popcorn out of the microwave...blah blah blah doyle was there and he asked her for help bc rebel sent him to her and she said no (the GN was really sad, btw. anywhoo...). Claire gets a job at Sam's comics because she's pretty. and then she ends up helping doyle in the end. That's basically claire's part of this episode.

Matt, with Nathan's help and a little help from rebel, sucessfully turns off (can't think of the real word) the bomb. That was a pretty intense scene.

Danko is starting to think that Nathan has abilities so he's talking to everyone nathan knows about him. He goes to tracy who covers for him only by saying "he's lousy in bed". Angela says he was he odd one out in the Petrelli family- she tells Danko Nathan was the one born without powers. HRG pretends not to know anything. Danko ends up throwing nathan out a window and then witnesses him flying to save himself.

Hiro and Ando find out Matt has a kid he doesn't know about.

And now for one of the main reasons I watch heroes- sylar. He goes to his dad's house expecting a fight (and, I hate to be a killjoy but the scene where he meets him sounds very VERY scripted. "It is I, Gabriel, your son!" "Is that so?" "It is so!" and then he goes on like "you left me and killed my mother! prepare to die!". Not the best writing I've watched) and since Sampson Grey has cancer he's just like "Oh screw it! Kill me, gabe. I'm dying any day now anyway". Then sylar kills a bunny. When sampson realizes sylar can regenerate (in an equally, over-dramatic bad writing kind of way in which sylar raises his hand dramatically in the air and looks at it, dramatically) Sampson's hunger comes back, but his powers don't work on sylar because sylar is too badass to be used powers on. Sylar leaves the dad like, "Now you must die alone with your cancer" etc. Currently, Sylar is in a hallway of Danko's apartment. Even though I know they're going to team up in an episode or two, I really think sylar should cut that asshole up.

That's it. It was a good episode.

I have two new favorite songs:

1) Fleetwood Mac- The chain
Now I am not a big country music person- the only country songs I have ever liked in my life are a couple of Nickleback songs (because my best friend likes Nickelback) and Wake up Wendy by Elton John, and I'm not sure if E.J. could even count as a country singer. But when I heard this song on Heroes (yeah, I get it. Enough with the heroes) I was like "wow, that really fits the mood of the scene!" You dont love me now / you will never love me again / I can still hear you saying / you will never break the chain. and now I really like the song. It's sad.

2) Feeling Good- Muse
There have been a whole bunch of different versions of this, but Muse's version is my favorite. I think it kind of sounds a little like 20's stripper music. It kind of makes you want to hop on a pole! I can play it on the guitar too, and its so much fun! I recorded a video of myself playing it and singing but I'm not posting it.

It's a repressed memory Sylar had where he witnesses his own father selling him and then killing his mother. Ouch. It was really emotional.

I went into a church for the first time in my life last night. I'm jewish, so naturally I'm not usually a church-goer. However, my treble choir had a small concert in a roman catholic church in Garden City. My choir, the Garden City high shcool choir, and the Merideth College choir from North Carolina all sang three songs apeice and then sang 3 songs together.
We sounded pretty amazing, in case you were wondering.

16. I'm absolutely obsessed with Heroes. To the point where my parents are actually getting concerned. They once wanted to see what would happen if they made me miss an episode. I cried. they ended up letting me watch it, but now they're convinced I'm crazy. I was going to put this as #1 on this list, but i didn't want to seem TOO obsessed.

17. I'm gonna be on tv. for like, 2 seconds. People's Court. March 24th @ 4:00 on Fox. I'm one of those people who stands outside of the studio and comments at the end about the trial. Dani was there too.

18. I hate mornings I can never wake up. I also can't fall asleep at night. Which reminds me, I always have the craziest dreams.

19. I can't wait to get a car. Its really annoying when I have to get rides everywhere. I really want the car my dad has now. Its a dark silver honda civic and i LOOOOVE it

20. Me and some friends in Rent (the school musical) are making a "behind the scenes documentary" about what the ensemble does while the main cast are doing their thing

Today I decided to dress up as Niki/Jessica from Heroes. Too bad she's dead.
jeans- seven for all mankind, tank- idk, cardigan- AEO

A lot of people say "Nobody dies on Heroes, they ALWAYS come back." not true. You just have to be smart enough to realize who's dead or not. If there's a body, theyr'e dead. If thers not body, they're not dead. If they have some kind of regenerative power and die, they aren't dead- someones going to come along an pull out whatever is in that persons head.
Niki- there was a body in a casket. shes dead
Issac- dead.
Peter- (season 1) he had claire's power so when claire took the glass out of his skull he woke up
Sylar- (season 1) no body found. (season three, vol. 3) he had regeneritive powers so he woke up after HRg slit his throat when the eclipse ended. (vol. 4) only dental remains found- no body
Adam- (season 2)when the japanese army camp blew up, he obviously wasn't dead. (season 3) Arthur tuned him into ash
Elle- dead. it showed sylar burning her body
Daphne- when she got shot, I knew she wasn't dead because they only showed matt mad, they never showed the body

theres my logic.

edit: I just realized, I totally look brunette in that picture of me. I've always been golden blonde! I think it's about time I get those highlights!
