random

I stayed in pajamas all day, watched tv, and wrote a report on what the president of the united states does (for law class). I was supposed to go to the movies, but nobody I was going with could get a ride (I can NOT wait until I can drive) and I was falling behind on homework, so I decided to just get most of it done today.

I haven't practiced guitar in a very long time. I'm hoping that when the boyf gets back from D.C., he could give me guitar lessons.

I went on the heroes wikipedia website and I read this timeline of everything heroes. Whoever made that list had a LOT of time on their hands! just in case anyone was interested... as much as I love heroes, I couldn't read through all that.

heres my new forever 21 wishlist:

pajama time

I had no drama today, so I came home from school after 8th period and hung out with my mom who's sick at the moment. I got home at 2 and we watched DVR'ed episodes of the Odd Couple till 6. Then I had dinner.
After, I finally watched the Real Housewives reunion. o.m.g. I love Gretchen. I HATE TAMRA WITH THE BURNING PASSION OF A THOUSAND SUNS!!

Now I'm in pajamas.
T- SHIRT- school. It's the sophomore shirt. The theme was "Soph Wars" instead of "Star Wars". The back says "welcome to the dark side", has two crossing light sabers, and my last name.
PAJAMA PANTS- not a clue where I got these. I think they might be a hand-me-down from my cousin.
J'ai tres fatigue. Je vais me laver, regarde mon e-mail, et je vais me coucher.
I'm very tired. I'm going to wash up, look at my email, and I'm going to go to sleep.

I have CDO. It's like OCD only the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be.

Totally not in the mood to blog today. I just had to post that I got my REAL march issue of NYLON today when I got home from drama. woot woot. I think I'm going to go to sleep early tonight (it's like 12:30 but I usually end up relaizing the time at like 1:30 so this is relatively early for me). I have nothing better to do, and facebook is being annoying. I don't really know what I think of Kristen Stewart yet. There was a time in my life where I had a twilight phase (april-july '08) but after reading the last book, I stopped liking it so much. I don't know what happened- I'm just not that big a fan anymore.
I saw the movie the first day in theaters (no, I didn't go at midnight- I saw it the next day) and it was actually good. Not what I had imagined, but good anyway.
I still think Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) would have made a better Bella.
I really like these dip-dyed jeans. I want either the blue or the purple. I just wish they made them in navy. Maybe I'll look them up tomorrow.

I didn't wear anything noteworthy today- just dark jeans, a PINK t-shirt, and uggs. I'll picture-post tomorrow. I'm going to bring my camera into drama tomorrow (because Beniolet Michorgan enjoys making prank phone calls to strangers, and what's a prank phone call when its not on film? Besides, all of our shinnanigans (sp?) are so fun to watch!

I'm gonna put on my tye dye jeans. I'm gonna walk out of here into the streets.

jeans- kill city, boots- macy's, tank- 2 cute, sweater - aerie, necklace- h&m, headband - UO
Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you. I got the jeans!
Today is monday. I went to drama after school and surprisingly, it wasn't torturous at all.
It was fun. I made a study group. "Beniolet Michorgan" Ben, Violet, Michelle, and Morgan.
We studied global. I have a quiz tomorrow. Wish me luck!
It's 8:02pm right now. 58 minutes till Heroes!! I'm looking forward to a good one!
On saturday I got a new chair.... It's the one I'm standing in front of in the first picture. The little blue one. We're installing the lights and putting together the new desk tomorrow.
I had my first guacamole of 2009 today. yum yum!
I gave Michelle fashion advice today. She always comes to me before taking any fashion risks to make sure it looked good and didn't look ridiculous. =]
***
Onto a new topic- I think my sister has really good fashion sense. She's 11 years old, so of course she's not going to wear anything risky (shes in middle school. worst years ever) but she's really skinny and looks good in everything she wears. She's an abercrombie girl- she always looks like she took her clothes straight off the mannequin!
She took that first picture of me, and then when she finally got one that wasn't blurry, I took the headband off and put it on her and it looked absolutely fantastic. Too bad she's in middle school and you can't do that without fear of some snobby girl coming up to you and asking "why" you're wearing it. I mean seriously, come on. I remember in middle school, I don't rememeber what I was wearing but I remember it being some kind of fashion risk (for a seventh grader... It couldn't have been anything too hard core. Maybe it was my Whiting and Davis bag...that one got a few strange middle school glances but now I love it) anyway, this popular girl, Courtney, came up to me and asked my why I was wearing it. So I replied, "Why am I wearing it? Well you know, theres a REALLY LONG story behind it- I'm SO glad you asked!" The girl promptly walked away, to which I laughed, loudly, and then grabbed one of my friends and said to her, loudly, "that girl over there just came up to me and asked me the STUPIDEST question!" It was halarious. But deep down inside, I was really mad that people didn't except anything other than abercrombie, juicy, hardtail, so low, coach, tiffany necklaces, birkenstocks, pumas, and uggs.
Nobody compliments eachother in middle school. It's sad. I cant wait until Carly (my sister) gets into high school. She's got true fashion potential.

an ode to NYLON

This morning, I checked the mail, and what did I see?
a big yellow envelope addressed to me!
Lately the mailbox had been filled up high
with letters from colleges, asking me to apply
I usually put college mail aside
I had almost two full years to decide!
It's heavy! Thought I, Some college this must be!
And thus, my curiosity got the better of me.
I opened it up, and much to my surprise
"This is no college at all" I could not believe my eyes!
NYLON, the magazine I love so dear!
"There MUST be a god!" I cried, "NYLON is here!"
But there was something wrong, something odd indeed
Lily Allen's on the cover, didn't her issue preceed?
I glanced at the binding, "Oh my!", I exclaimed
This issue's not march, it's dec/jan aimed!
It's my lost issue! They one they'd forgotten!
The one I had waited for but never gotten!
I clapped my hands and shouted with glee:
"NYLON is fair to EVERYBODY!

playing dress up

I decided to dress up like Miley Cyrus today. I don't care about all that haters out there- I AM A MILEY CYRUS FAN. there. I said it.

While I'm at it, I also love Britney Spears, Heidi Montag (the Hills) and Gretchen (Real Houswives of the OC)

I wish I wish with all my heart, to fly with dragons in a land apart!

New urban wishlist! (sorry if the writing on it is unreadable)

I'm desperately trying to find "You Freak me Out" by Girls Aloud, but I can't find it anywhere. Not on itunes. Not on Limewire. Not online. ughhhhh. Its only on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B5PSBeacQs

psyco killer, qu'est-ce que c'est? fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa!

I had an absolutely horrible shopping experience on monday. Remember how I said shopping with Leslie was great? Well, these people were the exact opposite.
I went shopping with amanda, dara, and ben, three people who went to my hebrew school back in the day. To say they they were not good shopping buddies would be an understatement.

First we go into pacsun. I dont really like pacsun so I go in anyway because I'm not going to be all "I'm too cool for pacsun *huff huff*" I looked around and kept an open mind.

Then we go into hot topic. another store I'm not fond of. amanda liked hot topic for like band tee shirts and stuff so I was hoping that if I looked, I could find like, a heroes shirt or something. I didn't. But the fact that I kept an open mind to a store I didn't like was an amiable thing to do, right? Wrong. Apparently, normal people make a big deal and refuse to go into stores they dont specifically like, and keeping an open mind to other things is a big no-no.

We approach urban outfitters and I'm antsy to get inside because I hadn't been to a real Urban in weeks (online doesnt count). They dont want to go into urban. I say please, and they follow me in. About two minutes later, I look around and I dont see anyone i was with. I get a text from amanda saying "where r u?" and I say, "near the jeans. where r u?". she says "outside." umm...wtf?

I go outside to see why they arent in the store and all they have to say is "we dont like urban outfitters." umm.... are you kidding me. I mean, #1) i don't understand why anyone wouldnt like urban, but thats not the point. the point is #2) when your friend goes into a store, you dont leave without even looking at the clothes, you keep an open mind and if you dont like it, that sucks. So I made my purchases (to be posted when I wear them) and left, meeting up with them outside.

Next, we pass american apparel. I cant pass an american apparel without going in, but amanda says "I dont like american apparel." wasn't she the one who dragged me into an AA in the city because that guy gabe from cobra starship liked that store? I'm like, "whatever, lets go in" and shes like "no. we're not going in." So I was like "Ok. screw you guys. be bored outside the store and do nothing." So I went in and looked around but I couldnt try anything on because I felt very rushed by them. To buy good things, I have to be in a calm environment.

Oh yeah, and I wanted to buy this really cute shirt at forever 21 but the rest of them werent willing to wait on line so i couldnt buy it. and on top of all that, they made me eat. I DON'T LIKE TO EAT WHEN I'M SHOPPING! WHY SHOULD I SPEND MONEY ON FOOD WHEN I COULD GET IT FOR FREE AT HOME!!?? I dont need to eat in the city. I dont need to eat while I'm shopping. Why should I consume extra calories when I'm in an "I dont need it" mindset?

But you know what. It doesnt really matter. Because that night was Heroes. and it was really good. How is it that a simple tv show could bring my day from a 4 to a 10?
In case you were wondering, Sylar was ADORABLE. he saved Luke. It was really heroic and cute.

Saturday, February 14, 2009

do you like waffles? yeah I like waffles! doo doo doo doo can't wait to get a mouthful!

I just went shopping for like, five hours and my feet are killing me. Leslie is a really good shopping buddy- she has a similar taste to me, and she doesn't force me to eat at the food court like certain OTHER people do.

Morgan: Oh Paige! what do you mean your not hungry? You have to eat something?
Michelle: what are you, anorexic or something? If this is about calories, than subway is pretty healthy!
Me: ughhhh!!!

We went to the mall and went into like a million stores. i only ended up buying 2 bracelets. They're the beaded one on the top and the studded one right under it. The braided one under that is from the same mall-stand but I got it in december, and the one beneath that is even older and its from american eagle outfitters.

So we shopped and shopped and when we went into j-crew I saw the most gorgeous necklace in the world and, since it was $95, I took a picture of it since I couldn't buy it. and yes, the ribbon is part of the necklace.

Soon after, we went to Sacs fifth and I saw the most gorgeous chanel shoes in the world. I just held them for like, 20 minutes thinking, "wow, these are beautiful. I'll need to marry a really rich guy to be happy, won't I?"

On wednesday, I'm going shopping with Michelle, hopefully at Roosefelt Feild so I can go to urban outfitters and buy those beautiful tye dye jeans I've been fawning over. There's also an AA in roosefelt, and I have a gift card there too. redeeming time!

I heard green tea makes you skinny, so as I'm typing this, I'm drinking green tea to try to cancel out the godiva chocolate I ate today. It's valentines day and the boyf (I know, I stole susie bubble's word) is in florida and therefore can't give me valentines day stuff!

I'm not posting an outfit today because all I'm wearing is a lavendar tank top and ill-fitting abercrombie jeans (they're a 6. I'm a 4. all this extra leg room is making my thighs look like tree trunks.)

HERES MY SHOPPING "ACHETER (to buy, in french)" LIST:

1. Those Kill City tye dye jeans from Urban Outfitters. I will DIE without them. I will simply DIE

2. Long leggings. The only 2 pairs of longblack leggings I have have holes in the butt area. I need new ones. Maybe I'll get shiny ones too. And while we're on the subject of leg-coverers, I need colored and patterned tights too.

3. Some kind of denim vest. This is long overdue.

4. Hippie headbands, and some kind of hard headband with a flower or a bow on it

5. I am in desperate need of flats.

6. T-shirts with graphic designs on it. Preferably something with a childhood reference on it, like madeline or hello kitty. Or maybe something about nerds or star trek, because I thinkits really cute to wear nerdy t shirts with a cute outfit. Or maybe something with superheroes, because you allknow how much I love superheroes

7. Chuck Palahnuik books. They look so cool and they sound so original. I need to start reading more... I usedto love to read but lately I just haven't had the chance.

oooby the way, I found out what NYLON really means! I thought it was just referencing the material Nylon, but it turns out its about NY-LONdon!!! Because they made a new magazine, PARLON- PARis-LONdon!

obsessed

I am obsessed with these jeans. I NEED them! when I go shopping this week, I WILL get them.

blackout

last night was probably one of the weirdest nights of my life.
remember how i said that everything bad happens to our house when my dad isn't home? well that was proven right yet again when the POWER WENT OUT FOR A FUCKING THIRTEEN AND A HALF HOURS!!!
ok, so I went on a bike ride and it was really windy so i came home. Then at about 5:30pm, the power blows. so i grab a flashlight to go check on the fuse in the basement and its fine.
i calledlipa and they said they didnt really have an estimate on how long it would take to get the power back, but they thought maybe around 5 hours so i was like "ok i could survive that."
needless to say, it wasnt five hours.
i ended up lighting a fire in the fireplace and roasting marshmellows. then i practiced guitar.
at like 9:30, i went upstairs to practice because my mom had a headache and i used this flourescent battery light in my room.
Then i get this text from one of my guy friends asking me out.
it was one of those days where you feel like its not really your life, you know?

This morning, I picked out my clothes and did my make up by candlelight. 10 minutes before i'm about to leave the house, the electricity goes back on and me and my mom were like "HALLELUJAHHH!!!"
At the bus stop, I found out that it was every house on my block, not just be andmy neighbors.
At least that makes me feel better.

I'll post today's pix later

When you wish on a shooting star, you wish comes true. unless its a meteor heading for earth to destroy all life. then you're pretty much screwed.

tanks- hanes, jeans- lucky, necklace- h&m

I really like today's outfit. It's very plain and very solid, but I think that's what makes it work. I was having a skinny day today, so i decided that it would be best to wear just a solid tank top, and i wasn't in the mood for a sugarlip which can sometimes backfire- they expose EVERYTHING.
I'm also wearing my favorite lucky jeans. I have like, 3 pairs of lucky jeans, 2 h&m, 2 abercrombie, 1 pair of sevens, and 1 pair of citizens of humanity, all of which I wear interchangibly. These lucky's however are my favorite. They're very slimming.
please don'tlook at my nails. i'm in desperate need of a manicure but i simply havent had the time.
TONIGHT IS HEROES!!!! CHANNEL 4 AT 9:00 PM!!!! I CANT WAIT!!!!
I got my very first 100 on a chem quiz. yay me! don't you love mondays?
I think when I finished my homework I'm going to work out. I haven't done any physical activity in a while and its making me dizzy.
Did you hear about Chris Brown and Rihanna (my ipods on shuffle and "disturbia" just turned on...thats what reminded me). He beat her? wow.
I think I've typed enough for today.

New UO Wishlist

I think I'm going to get the second pair of jeans on the top. I desperately need both of those shirts, and I think it would be cute to have my very own HRGs (horn rimmed glasses)!

guess who I saw naked yesterday?

On saturday, I went to the city with my friend Dani. We took the 7:16 train, and while we were waiting, some creepy guy cept talking to us and asking us questions. He's like "Is the train to penn station running on time?" and we're like "Yup." and he sees the cup in my hands and he's like "what are you drinking?" he was like one of those close talkers, so as he was talking to us he was inching closer and closer and we were backing farther and farther away. I'm like "coffee?" and he's like "Oh, I like coffee." he had this accent so I guess that in his country, its socially acceptable to talk to young girls. As we were walking on to the train, some of the other passengers joked with us like "where's your friend?" we all had a good laugh.
When we got into the city at 8, we went straight to the Equus theater so we could get student rush tickets. There were already three very weirdly dressed girls there and they informed us that hey had been there since 7 and the doors didn't open till 10. In order to get tickets, you had to get there early, so we were lucky we were the second group on line. We asked the girls to save our spot so we could get breakfast.
After eating a croissant at starbucks and walking up and down those new steps in the middle of times square (and I must admit, when I walked onto the middle crosswalk on broadway, i looked up at the sign and shouted "YATTA" like Hiro from heroes. There was no reason to be self consious because there were strangely only like 3 other people out. Plus, I reminded myself that however "quirky" I may be, I wasn't weird like those other girls waiting at Equus.)
We got back to the theater and waited an hour and a half, and then the doors opened and we got our tickets. So here's how our time between getting the tickets and seeing the show went:
We went to the virgin records store, got lunch, got on TV, went to toys r us, made a bag of purple, gold, silver, white, and teal m&ms at the m&m store, went to the much-smaller hersheys store, went to another more old-fashioned record store, and then made our way back to the theater.
Oh yeah, the TV thing. I'm on people's court. March 24th, 4:00 on fox. YAY!
The show was absolutely incredible. I loved it!!
At around 5:30, we got starbucks (I got a yummy chai latte) and made our way back to the train. Then her mom picked us up from the station.
I regret that we didn't get to go shopping (I even brought my 2 UO gift cards and my AA gift card plus extra shopping money) but next time, we planned to go shopping the whole day and then be on the studio audience of something.
t shirt- UO, checkered shirt- abercrombie, jeans- h&m

jeans & necklace- lucky, boots- macy's, top- urban outfitters, sweatshirt, abercrombie

this is the lucky necklace i wear like every other day. I absolutely love it!
oh yeah, and whoringment was a word I found on some "Lines you will never hear on heroes" thread on 9th wonders. yes, I do realize that I'm a nerd.

"Nathan: *looks at Linderman* What could you possibly know about healing?
*flashback of Linderman playing Operation board game without buzzing any sides*
Linderman: *confidently* A few things."

i love the 80s

I was about to change into pajamas and go to sleep when i took this

a quickie

hey i havent blogged in a while. im feeling a tad lazy today so i'll post all my pictures tomorrow.
heroes was amazing. but im tired and i want to go to sleep now.
nighty night
